A RPG that consists of walking around a clustered environment. Players can destroy blocks that sorround them, however, they cannot destroy a huge wall that sorrounds the world.
A game about a ghost who needs to sleep, but they can't because they need to see a livestream of Eminem playing Counter Strike. What is the best decision? Find out in this epic walking sim. By above project do you mean the clustered RPG environment, the Eminem game, or my animal crossing idea? I'm down for any, really. If you're still interested in doing it around december 10th and beyond after my exams then I'd totally be down for it. I have a final English exam on the 12th so I think after my final English exam we might make something interesting.
I had an idea for a modern day RPG where instead of classes like Wizard, Warrior, Beserker everyone had a "fan" class, such as "Comic book fan", "movie fan", "video game fan", etc. I've been wanting to recreate classic RPG archetypes for a while and this is a really fun way of doing it.
Sort of surprised I haven't heard of this already, but I might just not know of it. I'm not aware of any like this. I was going to throw it together in RPGMaker as a test. Feature our local comic book shop ; But I don't think I'll get to it. Here's one I might never end up making myself so I'll put it here: A young alien lands on a post apocalyptic earth and visit's the only remaining human buildings a major attractiononly to find scraps of newspapers and old diary entries that talk of strange creatures who come in glowing craft and attempt to destroy all human life I love this one!
This is sort of a stretch, but this is a little bit like the Pikmin series. Specifically Pikmin 2 with all of the man-made collectables. It's a weird small arcade game idea for Ludum Dare I had a while ago theme was "Unusual weapon" or something like that.
It's about a gone-mad rocket launcher character, who rocket jumps around the room shooting it's projectiles at the ground, walls and ceiling to avoid being caught by scientists and military. Please go to the Menu section, create a menu and then select the newly created menu from the Theme Locations box from the left.
We game designers are creative people, often to the point that we have WAY too many ideas to be able to see them all become reality. So, why not share a few? Your idea can be short and sweet, or fleshed-out with details.
Players can choose to contribute or not, depending on whether the buildings being constructed support their private goals. I am actually working on this.
RPG Character ideas - Corruption
You have to work together to meet a quota for your alien overlords, and can take any excess resources to build up your resistance. Players are working on a commune to produce what they need to survive. They can choose to slack off and make their own products hemp beanies, friendship bracelets, etc and then sell those things to feed themselves when the group has not produced enough. Working together produces more, but everyone has to share the common resources, with people taking turns feeding themselves every round.
Whoever ate last the previous round eats first, then picks who gets to eat next. Your objective is to be the last hippie to starve to death. Every round there is a chance your consumption needs will go up, and the more you slack off, the greater the chance this will happen. Love this idea. I have an idea where you could have a periodic table-based game with a deck of cards and a character.
On your turn, you pick a card from the deck and something happens to your character. For example: On your turn, you pick helium. You squeak or act like doing something with a balloon and people have to guess what element you got. If they guess right, they can get a certain number of points. With the points, maybe they could buy a new element or use elements they already have to craft or create some material.
Goal Gain Power The heroes are on this adventure to gain personal or political power for themselves. They may be looking for an artifact or weapon, or are performing a mission for someone who will reward them with political power a higher social rank or lands, for instance. If the characters are doing someone else's bidding, you might want to roll again on this section to see what goal the patron will have assigned to the characters.
Story Hook Missing Memories One or more of the PCs wakes up with no memory of the recent past, and now they find themselves in some kind of trouble they don't understand. The PCs must find the reason for the memory lapse, and solve any problems they uncover in the meantime.
In it, the heros are given or undertake a task to perform: The taking of a city, the rescue of an innocent, the destruction of a monster, the creation of a magical item, the defeat of a Master Villain, etc.
But the path to victory is not a simple one. To get to their goal, Event A, they find that they must first accomplish some other task -- Event B.
But when they undertake the task of accomplishing Event B, they find that they must first accomplish Event C. This goes on for several encounters, until the heroes accomplish all the obstacle events which prevent them from returning to Event A, their original goal. Climax Prevented Deed Here, the heroes have been defeated -- captured by the Master Villain, or so thoroughly cut up by his minions that all believe them to be dead.
And the heroes have learned, from the bragging of the villain, loose talk of his minions, or examination of clues, what is the crucial event of his master plan. In any case, the battered and bruised heroes must race to this site and have their final confrontation with the villain, bursting in on him and his minions just as the knife or final word or key is poised, and prevent the awful deed from taking place -- and, incidentally, defeat the master villain and minions who beat them previously.
General Setting On the Road Most of the adventure takes place on the road, as the heroes are travelling from place to place. This is especially good for adventures where heroes are investigating a wide-ranging mystery, are part of a caravan, or are being pursued by loathesome villains. Specific Setting I Shacktown of the Oppressed Part of the action centers around the tenements or shacks of the worst part of town; perhaps an allied NPC lives here or the characters are fugitives hiding out in the nasty part of town.
Specific Setting II Demi-human Community In wilderness areas, this will be a large community of demi-humans -- elves, dwarves, halflings, whatever -- or intelligent nonhumans such as orcs. If your action is taking place in a city, this could be a hidden community such as a secret underground dwarf community or a section of the city inhabited mostly by demi-humans.
Master Villain God of Chance Here you have two options. This Master Villain could be a real entity -- an actual god of mischief or silliness, who has intruded in the heroes' lives to cause chaos and have fun.
Alternatively, this "villain" could actually be pure chance: The heroes are having a series of unrelated, accidental encounters which cause them fits. No real single villain is involved, although initially it looks as though there is. He's hard-eyed and scary; life means nothing to him and he enjoys killing. He's also a good advisor to his master. Minor Villain II Lovable Rogue This character is like the Master Villain of the same name, except that he has no minions of his own and serves at someone else's bidding.
However, he's very independent, not always working in his employer's best interests; he often makes fun of the Master Villain's pretensions and may suffer that villain's retaliation because of it. He constantly pries into the heroes' backgrounds, asking questions that are none of his business, as the adventure continues. Monster Encounter Nocturnal Predator This is a classic monster encounter; the arrival of a hungry carnivore in the middle of the night. Usually, this attack happens to heroes camping between villages or out in the deep wilderness; a wild animal, attracted by food odors from the heroes' campfire or from the heroes themselves sneaks in for a bite.Time to start your first game!
